Going to Patch 7.0 Would mean a start of a new Season.
Season 6 ends (Approximately) on November 11 and starts on January 20.
After a season ends, Ranking matches are disabled. However we are still going to get some more patches going.
By the end of the season 6, we will be on patch 6.22 waiting to hit on patch 6.23, preseason will probably start after a few days.
After patch 6.23 hits (approx. on 16 November) we will be having one final patch. Patch 6.24 which is the final patch of the season.
After Patch 6.24 hits, we won't have any updates for at least one month.
It is estimated that the new season will start on 20 January 2017, and patch 7.1 will happen somewhere early on January.
During the one-month break from patches, League will get some major updates and changes which are left to be seen!
