The next big thing that will come with Worlds is the new Worlds Crafting.
What this basically is, is a new way of getting borders to your Team Icons just like with PROJECT borders.
So this is how it works:
You have to purchase a team icon for a price of 250RP each where 30% of that will go to the teams.
After you do that, you will automatically get a shard for Tier 2 in your hextech crafting materials.
If you want to upgrade the icon to Tier 2, you have to have 10 Championship Jewels.
You can obtain Championship Jewels in two ways.
First way is to buy a Championship Jewel Token from the shop that costs 150IP and is only available on the Worlds broadcast days and second way to buy a Championship Chest that costs 195RP for a Chest and a Key and also all normal Hextech drops.
So basically if you buy the Championship Chest it will give you 3 Jewels and also normal Hextech drops such as Skin shards / Champion Shards etc.
You need 10 Jewels to upgrade to Tier 2 and 12 Jewels to upgrade to Tier 3.
You will be able to advance a Team Icon to Tier 2 and 3 only after you purchase that icon which will cost you 250RP, after that, you can advance it with only spending IP.
If you don't want to spend your RP with the icon then you can advance the free worlds icon that will be given to you, but that icon won't have any borders etc.
Crafting materials will expire at 23:59 PST at November 6 with the team emotes and recalls.
